1 · What localStorage is
A cookie is a small text file that a site can store on a browser and that the browser may send back with later requests. Spin Velvet Hub does not set an HTTP cookie. It uses localStorage, which is another kind of browser storage. localStorage stays on the device. It is not sent to us with each page request, and it is not a member profile.
The footer and the banner call the choice a cookie choice, so this policy uses "cookies" to mean that choice and the localStorage keys behind it. Every key uses the prefix svh-. There are eight keys. Five are strictly necessary. Three are optional. No other svh- key is written by the Site.
Virtual credits stored here have no cash value. You cannot redeem them. They are a play counter for this browser. The Privacy Policy explains the PIPEDA side of the same storage.
2 · Strictly necessary keys
These keys are required for the rooms to function on this browser. You cannot opt out of them while you keep using the Site. They are not advertising cookies. Choosing Necessary only keeps them and removes the optional keys in section 3.
svh-agestores the value19after you confirm that you are 19 or older, so the age question does not return on every visit. The 19+ rule applies everywhere the Site is offered, including Alberta and Manitoba.svh-creditsstores the virtual credit balance as a number. When the key is first created, the balance is 10,000. Virtual Credits Only. The balance has no cash value.svh-refillstores the time of the last daily addition or free refill. After a day on this browser, 5,000 virtual credits are added. If the balance is under 1,000, a free refill can restore it to 10,000. Both additions are free. Nothing is for sale.svh-consentstores the cookie choice. The stored value isallornecessary. The buttons that set it are Accept all and Necessary only.svh-pausestores the time a responsible-play pause ends, as a timestamp, if you set a pause of 30 minutes, until tomorrow, or 7 days. If you clear the pause, the key is removed.
3 · Optional keys
These keys are saved only after you choose Accept all, and only when the browser is not sending Do Not Track. If either condition fails, they are not written, and any copy already stored is removed when you make a choice.
svh-soundremembers whether room sounds are on. The stored value is1when sound is on and0when sound is off.svh-wheel-logremembers recent Number Wheel results. It stores up to 14 pocket numbers for that room, so the recent list can be shown again on this browser.svh-wheel-againremembers the last Number Wheel stack so Repeat can restore it later on this browser.
Optional keys are not required to open a room. Necessary only is enough to play. Sound stays off, and the Number Wheel does not restore a previous list or stack, when these keys are absent.
4 · No advertising cookies and no analytics
There are no advertising cookies. There are no third-party analytics cookies. The Site does not load an analytics script, a measurement pixel, a retargeting tool, or an advertising-network cookie. The rooms run on this Site. They are not loaded from another origin, and they do not set a vendor cookie.
We do not share the keys for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell the information in them. If that ever changed, this policy would be updated first, before a new cookie was set.
5 · How the cookie choices work
When you first pass the age gate, a bar at the bottom of the page offers two buttons.
- Accept all stores
svh-consentasalland allows the optional keys in section 3. If the browser sends Do Not Track, Accept all is treated as Necessary only. In that casesvh-consentis stored asnecessary, the optional keys are not written, and any optional keys already present are removed. - Necessary only stores
svh-consentasnecessaryand removessvh-sound,svh-wheel-log, andsvh-wheel-again. The strictly necessary keys stay.
Cookie settings in the footer opens the same bar again, so you can change the choice later. The bar does not appear until the age gate has been confirmed, and it stays hidden once svh-consent is already set, until you open Cookie settings.
Do Not Track. If the browser sends Do Not Track, we treat that signal as Necessary only. Optional keys are not written. A note on the page can tell you that Accept all will still keep only necessary storage while Do Not Track is on.
6 · How to clear storage
You can remove every key by clearing site data for spinvelvethub.com in the browser. Clearing HTTP cookies alone will not remove localStorage. Use the control that clears site data, cookies, and cached files for this Site, or the control that clears local storage for this origin.
After a full clear, the age gate returns, the virtual credit counter can start again at 10,000, and the cookie bar can return. That is expected. We cannot clear the keys from a mailbox, because they are not stored with us.
Choosing Necessary only is the smaller step. It removes only svh-sound, svh-wheel-log, and svh-wheel-again. It leaves the age confirmation, the credit counter, the refill time, the pause, and the cookie choice in place.
7 · Retention
Each key stays in this browser until you clear site data, until you remove that key yourself, or until a choice in section 5 removes the optional keys. svh-pause remains until you clear the pause or clear site data. After the timestamp has passed, the rooms are no longer paused even if the old value has not yet been deleted.
There is no server copy of these keys and no separate retention period on a member record. The Site has no account to expire. An email you send about this policy is kept only as described in the Privacy Policy: only as long as needed to handle the request and any legal need.
8 · Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top will change with the text. Last updated: October 20, 2026. If a new key were added, or if an advertising or analytics cookie were introduced, this page would name it first. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy. You can also open Cookie settings and choose again.
